In 2010 I left my job at the National Football League and started my own one-woman design and letterpress print shop called Press Engaged. Press Engaged focuses on custom designed and letterpress printed wedding invitations. I've been featured in print publications such as Martha Stewart and New York Weddings as well digital publications such as Style Me Pretty, Oh So Beautiful Paper and other wedding blogs. Jen & will print a poster

When I was studying typography in college, my professor wouldn’t let us touch a computer for an entire semester. We learned about typography by hand-setting wood and lead type on Vandercooks. Since a lot of my coworkers at Edelman had only learned about typography digitally I thought it would be great to take a field trip to my studio. I asked Will to come up with a phrase and then we worked together on typesetting, locking up and running the press. The Edelman office liked it so much, we’re planning on taking more field trips to the studio so all of the creatives can type set their own posters.
