NFL Breast Cancer Awareness month

The NFL partnered with the American Cancer Society to bring awareness to the importance of annual screenings. My role was creating the logo, choosing our sporty pink color palette, writing the tagline, style guide design and implementation of the pieces. My work spanned on-field designs, print ads, digital ads, and merchandising.

logo DESIGN

I worked on the creation and color selection of the NFL Breast Cancer Logo. In choosing the final pink, we went through several color iterations, testing the color on the field and combined with team colors. The recognized pastel pink used by several organizations was too soft. We wanted to take a strong, sporty approach that matched the intensity and excitement of the NFL.

environmental design

We took every opportunity we could to bring awareness to breast cancer screenings. From a special breast cancer awareness game ball to pylones, banners and on field logos.
